Support into construction training
CTI will help provide work placements for learners who join the training and pay their weekly wages while in training.
Interested residents have to enrol at a local college and TVH can provide support with college applications.
Learners will spend the first few months at college getting the theory they will need before they are allowed out on building sites.
Once on site, learners will spend 4 days on site and 1 day in college each week.
If you are interested, please contact the training team at Thames Valley Housing. There numbers are at the foot of the page.
Electrical and Plumbing installation training for 16-18 year olds in Rushmoor at West London Training (WLT)
West London Training is offering free training in Electrical and Plumbing Installation for young people aged 16-18.
The City and Guilds accredited qualification runs for 2 and a half days a week for 15 weeks. The course will give a Level 1 qualification in performing engineering operations for either plumbing or electrical installation.
The qualification, along with a reference from WLT provides young people with excellent opportunities to gain a position as an apprentice.
