Votes for residents - 03/10/05
Who Wants to be a Millionaire-style voting came to Thames Valley Housing’s Residents Conference on Saturday 24th September. Residents used handheld key pads to give their views on resident involvement and their estates, with the results instantly displayed on screen. The poll found that the issues which residents are keenest to get involved in are maintenance and safety and security.
Attendees also found out about TVH’s new repairs and estate services partnering contracts with Mears and Quadron, and heard from TVH’s three resident board members about the difference they have been able to make through getting involved.
The conference was held at the Paul Robeson Theatre in Hounslow.
