Thames Valley Housing Chief Executive Set to Leave - 19/09/07
Thames Valley Housing has today announced that its Chief Executive, Keith Holloway, is to leave the Association in the summer of 2008.

Thames Valley Housing Chair, Peter Williams, said “Working with a high quality executive team and staff Keith has led the transformation of Thames Valley Housing over recent years. We will be very sorry to see him go but we recognise his personal priorities and the fantastic service he has given us. Keith and I have been in discussion around an orderly transition for some months and now is the time to move forward. When he leaves it will be with our blessing. Keith’s departure creates a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take forward a top quality association and build on our many successes in recent years”.

Keith Holloway said, “The most important last decision a CEO has to make is judging the right moment to leave. After 9 years that moment has come. I’m proud to leave TVH in great shape. We are achieving top quartile performance at lowest quartile costs and we are a hugely successful developer. We also have outstanding staff who are highly committed to our ongoing success. My immediate task is to work with the board to ensure our success continues into the next decade.”

Keith Holloway’s period as Chief Executive at Thames Valley Housing has been marked by a number of notable achievements. These include:
- Achieving Chartermark and Investors in People accreditation twice.
- Being listed as one of the Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For in 2006
- The trebling of Thames Valley Housing’s group turnover
- Growth from 5,000 to 10,000 homes managed and a preferred development partner to the Housing Corporation
- Diversification into NHS accommodation and other new business ventures

A well planned handover to a new Chief Executive will ensure business as usual and the continued successful growth of TVH.

Commenting on his future Keith said “Although I will be sorry to leave Thames Valley Housing I am looking forward to rejoining my family in North Yorkshire and to developing my interests in executive coaching for organisational success, especially in the social housing sector in the North East”.
