Thames Valley Housing Annual Stakeholder Lunch indicates positive market position - 14/10/08
Thames Valley Housing (TVH) hosted its annual Stakeholder lunch for over 100 key partners at Twickenham Rugby Stadium last week. Local Authorities, banks, solicitors and developers were among the organisations who attended the event.
TVH CEO Geeta Nanda outlined how they are tailoring their services to residents on low and modest incomes and revealed that although times are tough, Thames Valley Housing is still selling an average of 8 shared ownership homes a week.
“Our success in continuing to sell homes relies on our ability to understand local markets, and produce quality homes that meet and exceed these needs.”
Guest speaker Richard Donnell, Director of Research for Hometrack, agreed that local market analysis better enables local authorities and developers to tailor supply to demand, which despite current market conditions still exists at a price.
