Fun for all the family at Thames Valley Housing Residents’ Day - 27/10/08
Thorpe Park was abuzz with information and entertainment on Saturday 25th October, as Thames Valley Housing hosted their annual Residents Day.
The event featured a mobile petting farm, balloon modelling, face painters, a caricaturist, lunch and free admission into Thorpe Park itself.
Residents also had the opportunity to give their views on resident involvement and the maintenance of their estates, using a Who Wants to be a Millionaire-style voting keypads which displayed the results instantly on screen.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet TVH directors, staff, and contract partners, who were available answering resident questions, offer information, freebies and advice. There was also as Cyber zone and a Video Diary Room, where residents were able to express their feedback about living in their TVH-managed home.
