Repairs & maintenance

We carry out day to day repairs you report to us and we maintain the garden and communal areas of your homes. We also carry out planned maintenance so we can keep the structure of your home and some of the internal parts in good condition.

How to report a repair

You can telephone the repairs team on 0300 456 2929 (option 1) or alternatively report your repair online by going to My TVH.

Estate and Planned Maintenance

If you live in a flat or have a shared garden area we will clean and maintain these areas on a regular basis. This is one of the services we provide which is paid for by your service charge. Read the leaflet here

We also carry out work to maintain the condition of your home. This work includes:

  • Cyclical redecorations carried out every 5 years
  • Kitchen replacements carried out every 25 years

Annual Gas Safety Check

We are legally required to carry out an annual safety inspection of the gas appliances in your home. This is because faulty gas appliances can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning which can be very serious and cause death.

If you can’t attend the first appointment, you must get in touch with us to make another appointment.

Failure to allow the inspection to take place could endanger your tenancy.
