When and How to Pay Your Rent?
Your rent should be paid weekly - in advance. It is possible to pay your rent on a monthly basis, but again, this must be paid in advance - at the beginning of the month. You will be given an individual Rent/Service Charge Payment Swipecard which gives you a choice of different ways to pay your rent and/or service charge.
Direct Debit
The easiest way to pay. Just complete and return a direct debit form, and your rent is deducted automatically once a month from your bank account. Any changes to your rent or service charge can be made by us without you needing to fill in more forms or contact your bank.
In Person
Take your payment card and payment to any Post Office or Payzone outlet (located in various shops etc around the region). They will swipe your card and take your payment on TVH's behalf.
Over the Phone
Just give us a call on the usual number (0800 358 7767) and have both your Payment Card and Switch or other debit card to hand. We can then take your payment over the phone.
Online
You can pay over the Internet through Bills Online. Again you will need both your payment card and Switch/debit card to hand.
Special Payments
Sometimes you may need to pay us for something other than your rent or service charge, for instance a rechargeable repair, or court costs. If this is the case you will be sent a Special Payments card. You can use this to make payments in person, over the phone, or online, as with the standard payment card. You must only use this to pay these additional amounts (also known as "sundry debts"). It's very important that you use the right card to make the right kind of payment, or we might not realise you have paid us!
