Community Training and Employment Manager

Summary Job Description

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at Thames Valley Housing’s Training Centre. We are looking for someone who can help to develop and shape the provision of training and skills for residents and develop employment initiatives to help residents get into work. You will be responsible for developing the community training and employment service to residents and providing some NVQ assessment. You must be passionate about community capacity building, be customer-focused and able to plan and manage a team. Committed to improving people’s lives, you must be able to build and maintain internal and external partnerships and be able to pursue new funding
avenues and produce bids. You will ideally have a resident involvement or community background with experience of managing employability projects and capacity building. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends would be required.
