We experienced high call volumes in December and January, which have continued into February as a result of the high winds, heavy rain and flooding. The outlook continues to look unsettled for the time being.
We expect there will continue to be a high demand for our repair service, so we will prioritise our response so we attend to emergencies and leave properties safe. This does mean at peak times you may need to wait longer than usual for us to answer your call.
The continuation of the unsettled weather into January meant we experienced delays in January completing follow-on work and some of that work will now take place in February. This is because works like roofing and fencing cannot be carried out safely in rain or high winds, so we have had to rearrange some of these appointments.
