Youth projects in Slough and Richmond

We’ve partnered up with a range of organisations to provide FREE projects to 13 – 19 year olds in the Slough area and the Richmond area.

Slough

We have partnered with Aik Saath, A2Dominion and Together we Create to run a number of FREE Youth Projects in Slough for 13 to 19 year olds.

 Lions Den & The Slough Project:

  • Dates:  Starting Saturday 18th October- Ending Saturday 20th December
  • Times: Saturdays 11-2pm
  • Venue: 3rd Floor, Connaught House, 48 High Street, Slough SL1 1EU

Lions Den: A business themed project similar ‘The Dragons Den’. Young people will work together to create a business idea and present it to a panel of Lions for start-up funding of £200.

The Slough Project: A film project looking at all the good and bad things about the area; describing where and how improvements could be made. Young people will create their own documentary, learn basic camera techniques, work with iPads, interview local people, create a sound track and learnt to edit.

Richmond

Thames Valley Housing have partnered with 6AQ, The Vineyard Community Centre, Richmond Housing Partnership and Together We Create to run a number of FREE Youth Projects in Richmond for 13 to 19 year olds.

Lions Den & The Richmond Project:

  • Dates:  Starting Friday 17th October – Ending 19th December
  • Times: Fridays 7-8.30
  • Venue: The Vineyard Community Centre, The Vineyard, Richmond, TW10 6AQ
