Grainia Long has been appointed as a new Board Member of Thames Valley Housing Association (TVH). She starts her new role on 30th April 2015.
Geeta Nanda, CEO of TVH said “Grainia arrives at TVH with a great deal of experience at charitable organisations, as well as superb knowledge of the housing sector. These will be vital for us as we aim to meet the objectives of our new corporate plan over the next three years”. Grainia said “I’m thrilled to have joined TVH at a time when housing is at the top of the political agenda. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the table and helping to play a part in the ongoing success of an already innovative organisation”.
Grainia spent seven years at the Chartered Institute of Housing, four year of them as Chief Executive. She is currently Chief Executive for the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) and is in her second term as a commissioner on the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission.
