Russell Square wins Gold at the 2015 WhatHouse Awards

RussellSqThames Valley Housing has been named as the Gold Winner for Best Starter Home Scheme 2015 at the prestigious WhatHouse Awards for its Russell Square development in Horley.

Russell Square comprises of 90 new apartments for shared ownership and rent plus 1,100m² of commercial space making a significant contribution to the regeneration of Horley town centre.

The WhatHouse Award judges said: “It was clear to the judges that no stone was left unturned in the planning and execution of this development and that has without question, brought the benefits of homeownership to many who would not otherwise have stepped on the property ladder.”

Guy Burnett, Development Director at Thames Valley Housing said: “This is a fantastic moment for Thames Valley Housing, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council, PRP Architects, Airey Miller and Rydon who together, have created another award winning scheme.”
