Hundreds turn out for careers fair in Hounslow

dsc_0945-web-friendlyOver 400 people in the Hounslow area attended a careers fair held at Age UK’s Montague Hall on Monday 14th November.

The West London Careers Fair was organised by Thames Valley Housing (TVH) in conjunction with A2Dominion, Catalyst Housing and JobCentre Plus, and featured stalls from companies such as McDonald’s, YoSushi, WHSmith and Heathrow Airport. TVH’s repairs contractor Axis were also in attendance at the event.

The fair offered a wide range of employment opportunities in industries ranging from construction, aviation and logistics to hospitality, customer service and administration.

Najime Yachou, Employment Engagement Officer at Thames Valley Housing, said: “It was great to see so many people turn up at the job fair this week! The local employers were really impressed with the calibre of the candidates who attended on the day and I hope that for many of them, this will be the start of a brand new career.”
