Geeta Nanda appointed CEO of Metropolitan Housing Association

Geeta Nanda OBE has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of Metropolitan Housing Association, and will be departing Thames Valley Housing (TVH) in September 2017.

Geeta Nanda said “I am delighted to have been appointed to a new and exciting role at an ambitious organisation, but I am also sad to say goodbye to all of my colleagues at TVH. When I joined TVH, I only ever intended to stay for 5 years. Nine years later, I found myself still loving it. However, I think the time is right for me to move on to a new challenge, and for TVH to appoint a new, fresh and creative Chief Executive to take them into the future.”

David Clayton-Smith, Chair of TVH said: “We are delighted for Geeta that she has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of Metropolitan, and are sure she will continue to be a highly successful leader. Geeta has achieved so much over the last decade at TVH, from launching Fizzy Living, our PRS arm, and our private sale joint venture with Galliford Try, to driving up customer service standards to some of the best in the sector and establishing a high-performing Community Investment Team.

We are of course sad to see her go, but our Board are now undertaking a search for her replacement to lead TVH into its next phase, and an announcement will be made in due course.”
