From Monday 2nd July, our new gas heating and hot water contractor will be Central Heating Services (CHS).
Thames Valley Housing residents will be able to contact CHS directly from this date on their Freephone number 0800 028 4169.
CHS will be responsible for the following:
- Repairing and servicing gas heating and hot water systems
- Repairing and servicing hot water systems such as solar and unvented hot water cylinders
- Repairing and servicing our keyworker rented accommodation heating and hot water services
From Monday 2nd July, if you have a problem with your gas heating or hot water you should call CHS directly on their Freephone number 0800 028 4169.
Their offices are open 24 hours a day and they will be able to arrange for an engineer to attend and complete the repair.
Annual Gas Servicing and Safety Checks
From Monday 2nd July, CHS will take over the completion of all gas servicing and safety checks. If you have a check due in the next month, you may find you receive a letter from CHS before the 2nd July. If you have any queries about this or need to reschedule an appointment, you can contact them directly on their Freephone number 0800 028 4169.
BSW Heating will continue to complete any gas servicing and safety checks up to and including Sunday 1st July. If you need to speak to them about this, please continue to contact them on 0800 090 2360.
Appointments Booked with BSW Heating after Monday 2nd July
If you already have an initial appointment booked with BSW after Monday 2nd July, CHS will automatically be passed your appointment details and will arrange for one of their engineers to attend instead.
However, if BSW Heating have already visited you and need to return to fit a part they may re-attend after 1st July. This is in order to avoid unnecessary delays in completing your repair.
