From Tuesday 1st August 2017, our new gas heating and hot water contractor will be BSW Heating Limited.
Thames Valley Housing residents will be able to contact BSW Heating directly from this date on their 24 hour Freephone number 0800 090 2360.
BSW will be responsible for the following:
- Repairing and servicing gas heating and hot water systems
- Repairing and servicing hot water systems such as solar and unvented hot water cylinders
- Repairing and servicing our keyworker rented accommodation heating and hot water services
From Tuesday 1st August, if you have a problem with your gas heating or hot water system you should call BSW directly on 0800 090 2360.
Their offices are open 24 hours a day. They will be able to arrange for an engineer to attend and complete the repair.
From Tuesday 1st August, BSW Heating will carry out annual servicing and safety checks to gas heating and the hot water systems mentioned above. They will write to you to arrange an appointment before your next service is due.
If you have a check due in the next few months, you may find you receive a letter from BSW Heating before the 1st August. If you have any queries about this or wish to reschedule an appointment, you can call BSW Heating directly on 0800 090 2360.
To improve our service to you, we have also added the testing of smoke and heat detectors to the BSW annual service. This will reduce the number of times we will need to access your home.
Repairs & Annual Service Checks before Tuesday 1st August
If you have gas heating and hot water and wish to report a repair or change a service date before Tuesday 1st August, you should continue to contact Central Heating Services directly on 0800 917 9306.
If you do not have gas and need to report a repair to your heating or hot water system or reschedule a service appointment before this date, please continue to contact our Repairs Team on 0300 456 2929, option 1.
If you live in our keyworker rented accommodation and need to report a repair or reschedule a service, please continue to contact your Accommodation Officer directly.
We have written to all residents directly affected by the change in contractor. These letters should arrive by Monday 17th July.
