Form your own group

Residents Associations

Interested in looking after your neighbourhood?  Form a local group.

Resident Associations do all sorts of different things.  Some get together to for a group to tackle a particular issue, like a problem with parking or play areas, and some are more about having a collective voice to talk to us and other local organisations about how your area might be improved.

We can help you set up and run a formal Residents Association.  It’s not as hard as you might think.  We can help you with some online tools, and share our experiences of what’s worked well for other people. Contact Eleanor Morgan for more information or have a look at our guide to setting up your own residents group

Neighbourhood projects and events

Interested in growing community spirit?  Organise a local project.

Sometimes people want to come together for a project, rather than forming an ongoing Resident Association.  It might be about organising activities for children during the school holidays or having a gardening and clean up day for your estate. We can help you organise projects like this too.  There’s training available, some times funding too.
