Our affordable accommodation based in Hillingdon, Uxbridge is for both NHS and non-NHS keyworkers. The accommodation is situated close to Hillingdon hospital. and within easy access of direct transport connections to Central London and nearby Uxbridge.

Accommodation available

We have three types of accommodation:

  • Single occupancy rooms with ensuite shower, shared lounge and kitchen area
    • Rent for Hillingdon Trust NHS staff is £526.18 per month (incl. utilities & council tax)
    • Rent for non-Hillingdon Trust NHS staff is £607.82 per month (incl. utilities & council tax)
  • Single occupancy rooms with shared lounge, kitchen, WC & bathroom facilities.
    • Rent is £484.42 per month.
  • One bedroom flats contain a shower, lounge and kitchen area. Rent is £631.73 per month (excluding utilities)
  • Two bedroom flats contain a shower, lounge and kitchen area. Rent is £737.47 per month (excluding utilities)

How to apply

To be eligible you must be either,

  • An NHS Worker
  • A medical student (or students doing an NHS related courses)
  • Teacher or any employee of an education service
  • An employee of the Ambulance service
  • An employee of the social services authority, police, fire or public transport service
  • Any other public and private sector employees of any other bodies operating within or having a connection with the London Borough of Hillingdon

Frequently asked questions

Can I park?
We have limited parking spaces available at a cost of £180.00 per year (£15.00 per month). Please note there is a waiting list for a permit which means you will need to park off site until one is available.

Are the apartments furnished?
Yes, our properties do come furnished. All our single cluster rooms have the following items: single bed, fitted wardrobe, bedside cabinet, desk, desk chair, easy chair and a bookshelf. Please note that all existing furniture in the rooms cannot be moved or stored by Metropolitan Thames Valley.

What bills are included in the rent?
All utilities for single rooms are included in the rent e.g. water, electric, and council tax. However, please note that rents for the one and two bed flats do not include utilities and council tax and will need to paid directly by the resident.

Is there Wi-Fi available?
Wi-Fi is available through PCCW Global or other network providers for an additional fee. PCCW Global offer several packages to suit our resident’s needs.

How much of a deposit is required?
The deposit is equivalent to one month’s rent.
