Accommodation types and rent prices

Rent is £671.11 a month. This includes water, electricity, gas, and Council Tax.

Single rooms are for 1 person. These consist of a single furnished bedroom with wash hand basin and shared use of kitchen, bathroom, toilet and lounge with 4 other tenants.

Rent is £784.81 a month. This includes water, electricity, gas, and Council Tax.

Enhanced single occupancy rooms are for 1 person. These consist of 2 self contained rooms (one with a wash hand basin) and shared use of the kitchen, bathroom and separate WC with 2 other tenants.

Rent price is £1,493.39 a month. This includes utilities, but does not include Council Tax.

2 bedroom flats are for families. These consist of a kitchen, bathroom, lounge, hallway and 2 bedrooms (1 single and 1 double)

 

Extra details

Deposit

The deposit is 1 month’s rent which is paid to the Deposit Protection Service. The scheme holds your deposit until you move out of your home.


Who you’ll be living with

You’ll be living with other NHS and Non-NHS keyworkers.


Tenancy length

Your initial tenancy will last for 6 months. After that it becomes a month to month rolling contract. You can end your tenancy at any time by giving 4 weeks’ notice.

Who can apply

To be eligible you must be (in priority order)

  • An NHS Worker
  • A medical student (or student doing NHS related courses)
  • An employee of the Ambulance service
  • An employee of the social services authority, police, fire or public transport service
  • A teacher or an education services employee

We’ll consider non-keyworkers if there are empty properties.
