Working in partnership with Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust we have developed 171 brand new keyworker units located next to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

We offer three types of affordable accommodation, all just a short walk or bus ride to Aylesbury town centre with various shops and supermarkets and excellent transport links to London.

Accommodation available

We offer three types of accommodation,

  • Single occupancy rooms, with en suite bathroom and shared kitchen facilities
  • Rent is £599.22 per month (including utilities and council tax)

  • Two bedroom houses

    Rent is £897.66 per month (excluding utilities and council tax)

  • Three bedroom houses

    Rent is £1057.18 per month (excluding utilities and council tax)

What to expect

Who can apply?

To be eligible you must be either,

  • A Health Care Worker working within the areas covered by the Buckinghamshire Primary Care Trust (includes Sodexho employees)
  • An individuals working for, or engaged in work with, a public sector body or similar organisation who provides services of particular importance to their local community within any of the districts of Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern, Wycombe, or South Buckinghamshire.

    This includes: teaching education services, social services, the fire service, the police service, the prison service and the probation service, publicly funded transport services and any other body or organisation approved by Aylesbury District Council.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I park?
For our single occupancy accommodation, car parking is provided at a cost of £10/month. Note this is limited to 60 spaces in total.

For our houses, there are car parking facilities outside of each property.

Is the accommodation furnished?
Our houses include kitchen appliances cutlery, dinner service, pots, pans and utensils. Other furniture provided includes a sofa, dining table, coffee table, beds and wardrobes. Each house has its own garden which is enclosed by fencing and has a small shed for additional storage.

In our single accommodation, our en-suite bedrooms include a wardrobe, desk and chair, book shelf, and bed with under bed storage. The kitchen/dining areas are provided with a sofa, dining table & chairs, appliances, cutlery and cooking utensils.

How much of a deposit is required?
The deposit is one month’s rent which is paid to the Deposit Protection Service on your behalf, this is held until you vacate.

How long is the tenancy?
All tenants are given a 6 month short-hold tenancy, this can then be automatically renewed to stay indefinitely. Tenants may give a month’s notice to leave at any time during the 6 month fixed term and beyond; this must be in writing to the Metropolitan Thames Valley accommodation office.
